Hello @fairyloot ! Im Eyqa (@thehundredpages) from Sabah, Malaysia. 2020 gonna be my fourth year as a bookstagrammer, I love this community and I learn a lot from it, I explore many genre, found things that's not usually my forte but turn out I like it and most of all, I acquire many friends who shares the same passions as me, backup each other when it comes to the community and thats wonderful!
.
Its been my dream since the first I saw your boxes that I want to be partner up with you. You've been doing amazing things showing that reading should be very fun and not bored like what other people think of. Here, much love for you ♥️💕♥️💕♥️💕♥️💕
.
Thank you for the opportunity and all your hardwork for the reading community. Please continue the great works and creating value for reader ☺️.
  • 🌼Book Review🌼
Pan's Labyrinth by Guilermore del Toro & Cornelia Flake ❤️
💗First finished book of the year! Yeash🎉
Genre: Horror, Fantasy Fiction, War, Darkness
.
QOTD : Book inspired by movie? Yay or nay? 🌼
.
I've been a fan of the movie though, the darkness fell on a little girl life but that does not take away her imagination world as she actually a long lost princess of the Underworld Kingdom.
.
The storyline is the same as the movie but in more deep, deeeepp view, likee so deep you know. You'll know why a character do what they do in the movie and all of it make sense. That 'oh thats what actually happens' kind of reactions.
.
The authors also include some background mini story which is darker yet have their own lesson depend on the reader interpretation.
.
Thank you @tbntbooks for featuring this book on their podcast! If not I'll never know it exist.
.
Also doing tag #ubcjanuaryphotochallenge20 : Cute character you want to cuddle! Of course I want to cuddle Ofelia despite how hard the world throw lemon at her, come on she just a child and deserve to be care!

Rating:5/5⭐ 🎉🎉🎉
  • QOTD : Have you deal with reading slump before?
.
.
.
Yes, yes I have deal with those. But remember this, reading should be fun and enjoyable, dont read if it make you feel stress, frust or whatsoever. Try taking break, and come back stronger after that.
.
.
.
This three books were my current read at the moment, trying to balance it with a fiction yet light book 😂, that is why I take longer time but I manage to have one book down earlier this month (Alhamdulillah ❤️).

  • QOTD : When will you reviewed your book? After read three chapter or so on?
.
.
.
I always like to review overall after finishing reading it, but sometimes when the books so good and hold most amazing quotes in the world I may brag it a lot (on the bookstagram) chapter by chapter 😅.
.
.
.
KCAD is a non fiction reading but every words just trigger your inner soul on how great and amazing it was Tanah Melayu before (hopefully till today and beyond). Frankly said, this is a historic perspective with more leisure approach. I feel like falling into a spell to stick on every chapter in it. Cant wait to dig more.
.
.
.
Thank you @jejaktarbiah for providing this book in exchange with a honest review. ❤️

.
.
P/s : Im back cause its sem break! 😘
  • QOTD : What was the best thing happen to you on this August and Sept?
.
.
.
Guess who's missing the community?
.
.
.
ME OF COURSE!
.
.
.
How have you been my dear all? May you have a wonderful weekend. Its been so long I didnt post anything here because oh my, my study just so so so a big deal! Everything is hectic and im struggling with time and etc but Alhamdullillah after all of that I just be so grateful for being in study mode again! .
.
.
The main similarities of being a bookstagram and master student is the ability to review books/articles in critical thinking (ehem, thats why I choose coursework? 😂). I've been in the same reviewing industries but this year its all will be articles academic reviewing mode. Perhaps I can squeeze my time a bit for bookstagram adventure, what do u think? Hehe.
  • ❤️Reviu Buku❤️ Risalah #MalaysiaMembaca by @jejaktarbiah

Oww, I just in love with this magazine for unknown reason. Tapi sekarang, kurang-kurang sudah. That is why I smile sampai telinga in recalling my childhood memory on how I grow up with that kind of material. No wonder masa kerja dulu selalu dengar Misteri Jam 12, pernah satu kes sampai pelanggan pun seram sejuk nak melangkah ke kedai 🤣.
.
.
. "Siapa yang membaca, membaca. Siapa yang tidak, tidak." (how easy that thing back then).
.
.
.
.
.
Adakalanya hobi perlu disiram, minat perlu dibaja. Barulah sentosa dirgahayu semangat nya. The best thing happen in your journey, is to recall the first very reason that keep you on the path. .
