TBR’s Book Haul

Hello dear, may you have a wonderful day today. As for me, well I got a very hard time to resist myself from buying more books. I have also piled my current piles with additional 45 378 more books into them. If I can afford them lah, well I just add some four to five into it? Argh I should really restrict myself from visiting bookstore. But of course you know.. I JUST CAN’T.

As I will not review any of those book any sooner because of the piles but lets all of us take some time to appreciate how wonderful and great the cover and summary of these books? Lets cherish that moment on how we fall in love with the book from the first sight 😋 so lets start with my own To Be Read Book Haul:

1. Remang, An Anthology of Ghost Tale by Daphne Lee

I just love horror thingy, but that does not meant I wanted to involve myself in the bomoh stuff thingy. I just love the kind of thrilling feel by reading those stories. So a local folk story told in universal style is a big YES for my collection.

2. Garis by Khairul Aswad

Erm, paranormal thingy again? I’ll just shut my eyes and throw this into my buying bucket. 😛

3. Wizra by Ahmad Patria

Just because I nearly cry on the first book does not mean I’m satisfy with the cliffhanging end. Thats mean, this second book is a must for the Kronika Nashan’s trilogy. I meant what will happen to Melyn ien Sarra iea Nashrain, the high princess. I am mostly overhelmed by Spiara Bulwar epic friendship and betrayal story, and I would like ‘to know despite all the struggle and buried secret, how will Nashan survive at the end?

Since its a election seasons, so I need to read all patriotic books just to get into feel. 😛

P/s : I havent buy the third book of the trilogy yet. But sooner InsyaAllah.

4. Jika Aku by Anna Lee

My first attempt after leaving the author pieces since Puteri Karla, she used to be known as Julia Esqa, a book I used to fangirl over with before. I got a very positive feedback from Siqah Hiqa and I cant wait to start my reading on this one. But of course, I need to stay on the que. :3

5. Sindrom by Tey Marzuki

The summary remind me of a novel I’ve been working on (still on drafting phase) which inspired from my fave childhood classic story, so this book none other but to be my reference on that matter. I’ve been told that a great author were those who read so many book, and I agree on that.

6. Truthwitch by Susan Dennard

After horror, fantasy is my other obsession. As a YA lover and a trilogy scavenger, this book need to be in my collection.

7. Grishaverse Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo (Siege & Storm, Ruin & Rising)

I already finished with book one Shadow & Bone, and it left me.. how to put that into words.. nothing. But I have this urge feeling to know more, since I’ll not expect so much from book one, nowadays author always save the best part for the last. And I need that BEST PART and I’ll stop at nothing even though obviously money will be the barrier. :3

Siege & Storm Goodreads Summary:

Phew, I finally did this post. I almost forget how fun it was to write something especially on a topic you put so much love into. Since that, I challenge any of you to do your TBR piles book haul for 2018. 😀
