Would You Rather Book Tag

Its been a while I did not stretch my mind on bookish thingy. Yeah lately I’ve been in a deep dilemma whether to push myself on ficts or nonficts books. Why? Cause I felt that I’ve been lacking in skills and reading a novel does not bring me anywhere, its a really sucks perspective right? Arghh.

But then, lets enjoy the luxury of being a reader on this 2017. Thank you Rasya for tagging me, as a #teamlazyblogger hence I should continue the legacy of my team. I present to you, my lazy answer. (Please dont lol cos I lol ).

1. Read only trilogies or stand alone?
The trilogies books must be in a very deep curious digging level for me to continue with. As long as the books enjoyable and meet my expectation then I actually prefer trilogies. I love series thingy, its like you are reading a real person biography tho you already know it was a fiction. πŸ˜€

2. Read only female or male authors?
I dont really care actually, I prefer the plot? Haha.

3. Shop at Barnes & Nobles or Amazon?
None. πŸ™ Β And I perfectly aware that some of ARC’s distributer require that the selected reviewer should post their review on Amazon’s sites, but yeah how can I post cause as far that I know Amazon does not support postage in Malaysia. This is just a sad story.

Apart from that I usually bought my books online from Book Depository, BookaliciousMY and most of them I bought on our local bookstore which the popular one is Popular.

4. All books become movies or TV shows?
TV shows for the sake of deepen in details. Cause movie was made only in a fast pace version of the books and some extravagant details have been missed out. And thats not cool man.

5. Read 5 pages per day or 5 books per week?
At this moment gonna be 5 pages per day. πŸ˜€ I saw this quote on twitter :

You are still a book worm even if you only read a book per year.

Yeah, bookworm for life!

6. Be a professional reviewer or author?
I love to become a professional reviewer with a charisma. :3

7. Only read your top 20 favorite books over and over again or always read new ones that you haven’t read before?

New one that I haven’t read before.

“If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking.” – Biar Lembu Jadi Lembu.

8. Be a librarian or book seller?
I will be a librarian cause I can be at rooms full of books without being judge. :3

9. Only read your favorite genre or every genre except your favorite?

As a matter of facts I learn to read diverse genre of books cause you never know which one will left you speechless.

10. Only read physical books or ebooks?

Both cause its worth it!

.
#Psikik is about a world where male just act as assistant. First 10 pages baca I need more time to adapt with the characters choices of dialogues.
#10pagesreaction
  • Terima kasih @imanpublication providing me a free copy in exchange with a honest review. Belum habis baca sebenarnya tapi nak post dulu lah teaser. πŸ˜‹

.
Dah baca 180 pages and I love it! Okay sy cuba berlaku adil dengan buku-buku yg sy pernah bca sebelum ni. But this one, was one of its kind. Susunan ayat, installing the character personalities semuanya menjangkaui telahan yang saya telah fikirkan berkenaan novel-novel melayu πŸ˜‚.
.
.
.
Daebak! But I need to dig more sebab tak selalu buku melayu membuatkan semangat membaca saya membara πŸ˜‰.
  • QOTD : What book make you cringe to do something after reading it?
.
.
.
Last week I've been indulge myself in gaming assuming an assassin role mentioned in #projekathena. The mutual connection between the role both in the book also in ML make me cringe to know what its like to be an assassin. Eventually I fall in love with her. So my next move is climbing up the local rank for that particular heroes πŸ˜‚. I blame @syeraho for this. .
.
.
Back to this book, its been a tearful journey, it was a long reading but a worthy one. I bet one can finish it in one sit as the words uses is simple and understandable.
.
.
.
Not to mentioned it was my first book from HF. Honestly its hard to rate this kind of book, where islamic lifestyle and fiction were blend together. For my version of rating, I tend to give high rate to the book which has intimate, personal connection to the reader (me), so for that reason I'll give 4⭐. Even after catching a headache resulting from tears streaming last night 😣. .
.
.
This book recommend for a light reading, bedtimes stories also to those who keen to seek assuring words of His Promises. No particular reader, I think its just suit for everyone. Also a nice book to read it Ramadan!

The book synopsis gonna be in the comment below :
  • Alhamdulillah done reading a malay science fiction about Projek Athena : Manusia Ciptaan (trans : Athena's Projeck : Human Building). Thank you to @imanpublication for providing me a physical copy of this book in exchange with honest review.
.
.
.
And it was a fun reading towards the end. And syabas @syeraho for your first novel! .
.
.
This book recommend to those who love actions because Syeraho write a beautiful chereofighting, well mostly in words - and that something to praise with!
.
.
.
I'm currently constructing in depth review for this book and will update it soon on Goodreads - read on GR cause i'm hiding all the spoilers and leave you with all the good parts, lols 😜.

.
Rating : 3/5 🌠. Sorry there are pro and cons so I'll settle with this first πŸ˜‰ and also dont judge by my rating cause im just a very stinky person πŸ˜…. .

.
Setiap buku harus punya awal niatnya yg tersendiri (Eyqa, 2019).
  • QOTD : What book do you bought only because of its cover?
.
.
.
First time encounter buku published by @katapilarbooks ialah masa baca Syif Tengah Malam. Rupanya this is penerbit yg penulis dia dikalangan doktor, misi also yang bertugas di hospital.
.
.
.
One of many reason I like about them is their cover yg lain dari yang lain. Mcm this one.
.
.
.
Jadi izinkan saya post pasal book cover mendahului book review dulu ya. πŸ˜‚
.
.
.
Okay sekian. Saja nak bagitau cover dia cantik. πŸ˜‰
  • Big thanks to @prologmed cos hosting a GA for this book last year πŸ’–.

Or worse? Or dlm erti kata lain kena baca dlu buku ni baru tahu πŸ˜‚.
.
.
.
Sometimes rasa geram but another time rasa bahagia tgk kebahagiaan character biarpun fiksi semata.
.
.
.
Overall it was a good book. Kalau fans tentang Hermione with Time Turner, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child boleh lah try baca buku ni, setiap kisah ada teladan masing-masing. Hahh suspen takk? .
.
.
⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 cause I want more. The book alone tak cukup πŸ˜‚.
